Even after 39 years since the tragic Bhopal gas tragedy, India has not learned a lesson, which is worrying everyone. Are Indian lives so cheap? When India is able to send the Aditya L1 satellite and make it stay in the Lagrangian point, which is a proud moment for everyone, why not also focus on the safety of people living?

Very true. When he was living, the media projected him as a fool. Now, after his demise, people are realizing the truth. Had this been done before his death, Mr Vijayakanth's health would not have deteriorated to this extent.

ARTIFICIAL LEAF TECHNOLOGY

 Courtesy: Seeker and https://spectrum.ieee.org/artificial-leaf

Scientist have successfully produced hydrogen efficiently and also devised a system to make syngas. a mixture of CO and H2 to make products like ethanol. At the University of Cambridge they have made Artificial Leaf to convert CO2 to fuels like propanol and ethanol. The artificial leaf devise has a cathode composed of photovoltaic pervoskite and cobalt catalyst and anode made of photocatalyst bismuth vanadate. When the devise is immersed in water, bismuth vanadate absorbs sunlight and splits the water at the anode. At the cathode pervoskite generate electricity which drives the cobalt catalyst to reduce CO2 and produce syn gas.

Words of John Roome, Director for Climate Change: World Bank Group

We have the ability to end extreme poverty even in the face of climate change, but to succeed, climate considerations will need to be integrated into development work. And we will need to act fast, because as climate impacts increase, so will the difficulty and cost of eradicating poverty. "
