Indian writer, social worker, and philanthropist Sudha Murthy, also goes by the name Sudha Murty. In Shiggaon, Karnataka, India, on August 19, 1950, she was born. Murthy is the chair of the Infosys Foundation, a philanthropic entity founded by Infosys, a prominent information technology company in India.

Murthy is well-known for her contributions to literature, especially in the fields of children's and fiction writing. She has authored multiple books in Kannada and English, frequently drawing from her personal experiences and social observations. Themes include human values, social issues, and the value of education are frequently explored in her writings.

Popular works by Sudha Murthy include "Wise and Otherwise," a compilation of short stories inspired by true stories, and "The Mother I Never Knew," a novel.

It also helps in understanding various concepts theoretical principles and experimental findings in chemistry. It develops effective oral and written communication skills especially the ability to transmit complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. It introduces the students to modern laboratory methods and principles using state of the art scientific experiments
